Arkansas has two mountain ranges.
The Ouachita Mountain Range runs east to west from Eastern Oklahoma to near Little Rock Arkansas.
The Ozark mountains span a large area of central to Northern Arkansas.
Thus we have numerous climbs for those bicyclists that wish to take the challenge of these climbs.

Starting in Mena, Arkansas, this climb is on the Talimena Scenic Drive, which provides access to Rich Mountain and the Queen Wilhelmena State Park, as well as a trip deep into Oklahoma if you wish to have more than just the big hill climb.  Many Scenic turnouts, and scenic views of the Kiamichi Mountain Range to the South, and the Mountain Fork Mountain Range to the North.

Mt. Magazine Hill Climb from Havana, Arkansas- 10 Mile Climb of 2245 ft.
Mt. Magazine is the tallest mountain in Arkansas.  From Havana, it is a pretty constant and consistent climb up the south face of the mountain eventually reaching the Mt. Mt. Nebo Hill Climb from Dardanelle, Arkansas- 3 Mile Climb of 1300 ft.
Mt.
